Eric Meier

President and Chief Executive Officer

With over 25 years of experience in the development of innovative software, medical devices, and drug delivery systems, Eric brings his wealth of experience to Owl. In his previous roles, Eric served as CEO of Cervel Neurotech, a non-invasive deep brain stimulation offering for the treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders acquired by Rio Grande Neurotechnologies; Founder and CEO of Calypso Medical, a platform for the delivery of targeted external beam radiation treatment acquired by Varian Medical Systems; and a variety of corporate development activities at Johnson & Johnson. In his free time, he can be found surfing, fly fishing, and enjoying blues music.

Jason J. Washburn

Chief Clinical Officer

As a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Jason J. Washburn, Ph.D., ABPP, brings his vast clinical expertise to Owl. He is also the Director of Graduate Studies for the MA and Ph.D. programs in Clinical Psychology.

For over a decade, he served as the Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Practice for AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital, now Ascension Illinois, where he oversaw clinical outcomes and research associated with the Center for Self-Injury Recovery.

Darla Brown

Chief Product Officer

Darla has over two decades of experience in technology strategy and product development that she has gained through leadership roles at web and software development companies. She can create robust, scalable web products and build high-functioning engineering systems and teams. Darla has co-founded multiple digital startups in the healthcare and media industries, where she has combined her expert knowledge of product development with her understanding of user experience and interaction to improve clinical workflows and patient engagement.

Mark Pecoraro

Chief Customer Officer

Mark joins Owl with 25 years of experience in post-sales, high-value, B2B software solutions. His background has enabled him to develop a wealth of leadership skills and operational experience to help SaaS companies enhance their customer success capabilities and is skilled at deploying Customer Success Automation platforms. Mark is an industry thought leader and Co-Chair of the Customer Success Governance Council. He has held executive leadership roles at SaaS organizations and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Strikedeck and is a member of the Standards Committee at the Customer Success Association.

Peter Bakas

Chief Technology Officer

Peter has over 25 years experience in technology with a passion for large scale distributed systems, real time/streaming big data and how to build teams to design, implement and maintain them. Peter is a former Co-Founder and CEO of a cloud data infrastructure company that had a successful exit. Peter has also held Senior Engineering and Product Leadership roles at various industry leading organizations including Netflix, Yahoo, PayPal, and Bank of America.

Bob Hetchler

Chief Growth Officer

Bob brings over 25 years of sales and business development experience to Owl. He has spent the last 15 years in healthcare, including seven directly in behavioral health. Prior to Owl, Bob led growth and sales for Tridiuum, where he drove revenue for the health plan and behavioral health provider segments. He has worked for well-known healthcare brands including Optum and CIOX Health as well as innovative, disruptive start-ups in both SaaS and services. The last two SaaS organizations resulted in 8x and 12x revenue multiples in their sales to strategic buyers. Bob earned his Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

Justin Witkowski

Senior Vice President, Program Management

Executive with 20+ years experience, with the majority spent in the healthcare technology sector. Duties have covered all aspects of operations, customer success, program management, and product development for companies selling software and hardware solutions into providers, payers, and patients. Managed customer operations and technical teams at Aperio, the world’s first digital pathology company up to a successful exit in 2012. Went to work for Quantros, a SaaS company with safety/risk management and quality measurement tools for large-scale health systems and retail pharmacies, including Ascension, Providence, Tenet, HCA, Walmart, and Target. Most recently worked at Dynamic Healthcare Systems, another SaaS business targeting payers and health plans. Now run Program management @ Owl. Degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University-C.C.
